Scrapedozers

Earthmoving with Scrapedozers

The Scrapedozer is the ideal machine for earthmoving on hauling distances from 50 to 500 meters. On sites where the transport distance is too long for bulldozers and too short for dumpers, the cost effectiveness of the Scrapedozer is overwhelming.

Models

For smaller sites and working on soft ground the SR T-10 is most suitable. With a transport weight of 27 tons the machine is very versatile on the site and can be transported easily from site to site.

Along with the current benefits of the SR T-10 including the low ground pressure, agility and a similar weight distribution, the new T-12 TIGER is also equipped with all of the technologies that were developed for the T-18 TIGER. With a transport weight of 32 tons the machine is extremely versatile on site and can be easily transported to and from site.

Functionality of the Scrapedozer

1 man – 1 machine – 4 working operations: loosen – load – transport – embed

Performance Diagram

The following diagram shows the performance in cubic meter moved soil as a result of the transport distance. Further parameters like soil condition, inclines and curves influence the maximum performance of the models.

Comparison of cost effectiveness

The Scrapedozer shows its highest cost effectiveness on transport distances between 50 an 500 m. It combines 4 working steps, therefore an additional help of other eartmoving machines is not needed and costs are saved.

The following Diagram shows the relation of price per moved cubic meter as a result of the transport distance. The Scrapedozer is compared with other methods.

Advantages of the Scrapedozer:
  • As a track mounted machine it can work as well on soft ground
  • High performance up to transport distances of 500 m
  • One machine does 4 different working steps:
    Loosening-Loading-Transport-Leveling
Disadvantages of the Scrapedozer:
  • Degrease of cost effectiveness on distances higher then 500 m
Comparison with other methods of earthmoving:
Advantages:
  • Very high performance on transport distances up to 50 m
  • Additional rippering of very hard soil is possible
Disadvantages:
  • Performance gets very low on transport distances above 50 m
Advantages:
  • High performance in light soil on distances higher
    then 300 m
  • High transport speed
Disadvantages:
  • No performance on soft soil
  • High demand of space because the motorscraper works in the shape of an «8»
Advantages:
  • Multifunctional
  • High performance also on very long transport distances
  • High transport speed
Disadvantages:
  • High coordination effort fort he total group of machines
  • High costs for fuel and personnel
  • High costs for the installation of the site
